The first online events in 2023 in the global field of women’s health are starting on the 26th of January; a FIGO global webinar takes place at 13 pm UTC; the subject is focused on the FIGO’s initiative on the impact of pregnancy on long-term health.
The global webinar is presenting FIGO’s best practice guidance on how to reduce chronic disease across the life course, with a focus on the identification of pregnancy complications and improved post-pregnancy care.

The second will take place on the 31st of January, “Promoting women’s reproductive rights as human rights in Africa”
The regional webinar is focused on sexual and reproductive rights in Africa, with a focus on access to safe and quality abortion, post-abortion contraception, the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and addressing barriers to accessing fertility treatment.

The third is “The importance of maternal and perinatal deaths surveillance and response (MPDSR) for health systems strengthening”.
